  • How do I buy beef from Fish Branch Angus?
    (COMING SOON) The process works in 5 easy steps like this: 1) Select if you want a ground beef only or steaks/roasts/and ground. 2) Based on your first selection you will choose a 1/4, 1/2, or Whole Steer. 3) You pay us for the animal and we continue to feed and care for it until its ready for processing. 4) At buchering time (when the animal weighs around 750 lbs) we deliver the whole animal direct from our farm to the local butcher. 5) You pay the butcher for the processing (only for the fraction you purchased) and pickup directly.
  • What are the costs?
    *Carcass or hanging weight is the weight of the animal after it is killed and the head, hide, innards, and hooves are removed. **Weight of finished meat varies, depending on the size of the animal and processing options.
  • How long does it take?
    You can buy the animal and guarantee your beef at anytime of the year. Our Angus beef animals are born and raised on our farm until they are about 12 to 14 months old, currently we anticipate having steers ready between Jan / Feb. After processing the beef should be ready for you to actually pickup March.
